Automatic publishing starts with an explicit choice: which account to monitor and where to send new videos.
01
Authorize the right accounts.
Each network shows its official page; you choose permissions. For Facebook, authorize the Pages you want, then select the destination Page in Relay. For YouTube, check which channel is actually connected.
Choose your source and destinations. The currently supported automatic retrieval workflow starts from an authorized professional Instagram account. Other sources depend on access to the original video file and API capabilities.
In automatic mode, Relay prepares and sends eligible videos. With approval, they wait for your consent. A source account must not receive its own video as a destination.
03
Publish. Relay prepares.
The server checks new publications regularly, without relying on the app being open. It retrieves the accessible file, caption and cover provided by Instagram, then prepares destination-specific formats and text.
A missing or unsupported cover is flagged. Music licensed on Instagram is not automatically licensed elsewhere.
04
Read the actual result.
In tracking: active uploads, confirmed publications and rejections. An accepted transfer is not a “Published” status. Each destination is verified separately.
If you need to reconnect or make a correction, Relay explains the next step. Statistics update according to API availability, not second by second.
Prefer to start inside the app?
Import a video into Relay, prepare captions and a cover, select accounts and start publishing. Creating a draft never publishes it by itself.
