Connect the right channel.
Authorize YouTube on Google’s official page and check the channel name in Relay. Having several Google identities does not mean all your channels are selected.
Your Instagram publishing workflow
Your Reel is ready. On YouTube, it needs the right channel and a title that makes sense without its Instagram caption. Relay brings these steps into your publishing workflow.
On YouTube, the destination is a channel and text is split between title and description. Uploading a video does not, by itself, guarantee it will be classified as a Short.
Integration present in Relay. The public iPhone app is in preparation; platform eligibility and permissions remain required.
Authorize YouTube on Google’s official page and check the channel name in Relay. Having several Google identities does not mean all your channels are selected.
Select your authorized professional Instagram account, then the channel as a destination. The video must be accessible through official permissions; Relay does not freely download arbitrary links.
Relay adapts destination metadata and preserves the original caption. In approval mode, review the title, credits and available cover before confirming. Shorts thumbnails do not always offer the same options as regular videos.
Processing can continue after the upload. Open the final link when available and check visibility, possible restrictions and the format YouTube actually assigned.
A concrete example
You film an exercise and post it to Instagram. On YouTube, give the exercise an explicit title; keep useful details and credits in the description. Illustrative example, not a promise of views.
Check Shorts eligibility, music rights and channel restrictions. Cover options and statistics depend on YouTube’s capabilities. Relay does not bypass processing or permissions.
